Apartamentos Turísticos Verde Mar

I can't recommend this hotel. It doesn't feel like 4-star accommodation at all. The rooms were clean, but really dated. One chair, for example, had a blanket thrown over it to hide the shabby fabric. Breakfast wasn't worth having, with super cheap ingredients in plastic packaging, and even black tea was missing. The wifi was so bad that we had to use mobile data. The air conditioning in our apartment didn't work, and after we told reception, they said they couldn't fix it. It was so hot that no one could sleep. They were unhelpful and unapologetic, saying the units had recently been serviced. Maybe they had, but they look about 50 years old and clearly need updating anyway.

The best part for me was looking out the room window at Pico. I loved this beautiful apartment, including its big bathroom, nice kitchen and lovely outdoor space. The only downside was the hard mattress. I'd love to stay here again.

From the duplex, the Atlantic and Pico views are beautiful. The rooms were clean, and everything we needed was there or provided when we asked. The staff were great and helpful, going out of their way to assist. Excellent place to stay.

For an EXORBITANT price, this is an old, run-down 1950s place 😢. The air conditioning is poor, there's no internet, and there's no phone recharge near the bed, so you have to go far.
