Largo Bispo Boutique Hostel

The owner and staff were so friendly and attentive that I felt completely at home. The place is right in the city center, just a short walk from the promenade. My room was larger than most, cozy, and had its own bathroom and all the essentials. The communal living room is beautifully decorated, spacious, and exceptionally clean. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

I felt right at home here, thanks to the friendly, attentive owner and staff. The location is excellent, in the center and just a couple of steps from the promenade. Rooms are bigger than average, cozy, and come with a private bathroom and all the amenities. The shared living room is spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. A fantastic stay, and I can’t wait to return.

It’s right downtown, one street back from the waterfront, with a bakery across the road and plenty of free parking nearby. The family running the place are very friendly and were happy to show me their herb garden. The hostel itself even smells lovely, probably from the herbs, which is a nice change from places that smell like wet socks. It’s recently renovated, clean, and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable common area with several tables for dinner. My five-person dorm had plenty of room, lockers, an ensuite bathroom, and air conditioning, though I didn’t need to use it.

A good option in Horta if you want to stay in town without spending a huge amount. The host is very nice, though he isn’t always there for check-in or checkout. Breakfast was okay, but could be improved.
