We weren’t lucky with mosquitoes. They appeared from nowhere during our two-night stay and kept us from sleeping, even after we tried shutting all the windows on the second day. The location is good, about a five-minute drive from the harbor, but road traffic is hard to avoid at night. There’s no car park, so you have to find a spot on the street. The facilities were adequate, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, though the towels seemed a bit worn. Breakfast was nice, but the displays got messy when we arrived late and other guests were there.

The rooftop terrace had a magnificent view toward Pico, and I believe many of the rooms do too. We had a very pleasant stay, thanks in particular to all the small, thoughtful touches that made it extra enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect.

We were happy with the accommodation. The rooms are clean and there’s a common room, but breakfast is hardly worth mentioning. If you’re lactose-free, there’s nothing for you to eat, so you’re better off going to one of the many bistros in town.

We were warned by the noise outside: traffic on the front road carried on past midnight, so this isn’t a place for early sleepers. The marina view was partly blocked by another building, but the room itself was bright and very clean. Breakfast was really tasty, with lots of local dairy products and freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were very nice and helpful.

We had a good room and spent the whole day hiking. When we got back, my iPhone charger was gone. I noticed right away, but the administration was gone by then and left early the next morning. They rob customers. 👎🏽
