The staff were really friendly, and it’s in a great spot. Handling large suitcases here isn’t very convenient, but for the price it’s worth it.

Jose and his family made us feel so welcome, like we were at home. He took time to walk us through a detailed guide to lagos, and so many little touches around the guesthouse made it feel thoughtful and inviting. Our room was spacious and clean, and there was a lovely terasse too. The location was super convenient. Thank you for everything.

The room and location were great, and the hosts made the stay. They took care of anything we asked for, and we had no problems while we were there. After checking out, I realized I’d left two credit cards behind. Jose messaged me on WhatsApp as soon as he found them and asked what I wanted him to do. I’d already cancelled them, so I asked him to destroy them. He sent me a video of himself doing it, without me even needing to request proof. What could have been a disaster turned into total peace of mind thanks to him. 10/10, I’d recommend staying here and would come back.

I spent a couple of days here with my mom. The room was really comfortable, and the shared spaces had everything we needed and more. The owners, Jose and Angela, were wonderful. We’re looking forward to staying at Blue Moon again on our next trip to Lagos.

Right in the city centre and near Forte da Ponta da Bandeira beach, this hostel has a great location. The staff are really friendly, and you can hear live music in your room for free until 10pm. The balcony, kitchen and living hall are all spacious and clean :)
