The hotel is right by the Ponta da Piedade wooden paths, with plenty of walking nearby. The room was roomy, clean and comfortable, and we loved the view and direct access to the pool. The heated spa pool and jacuzzi were a nice treat. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of good choices, and the omelette made to order was especially good. The gym was also great and very well equipped. We had a really positive stay and would definitely return. The location is great, less than a 5-minute drive from the restaurant area and about 5 minutes from some lovely beaches.

Michael at reception deserves a special thank you for being kind, efficient and so helpful. Service was friendly throughout, including the valet parking. We stayed as a couple in mid-January 2026, and it was easy and quick to get into Lagos while still enjoying a peaceful setting. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished and very comfortable, with a stunning view of the sea. The hotel sits on a cliff beside Ponta da Piedade, with direct access to the scenic coastal path towards the lighthouse. Highly recommended!

The staff really stood out. They were friendly, helpful and available whenever we needed them. The rooms were very clean, and there are several pools and some lovely walking routes nearby. Lagos is about a 19-minute walk away. I chose the hotel partly because breakfast matters a lot to me. There was a broad range of food, including vegan and vegetarian choices, but I was a little disappointed by the bread. In Portugal, I expected more excellent local bread, including traditional options like pão alentejano. That would've made breakfast better. The place is great for a family holiday, though. I gave the room four stars mainly because the electrical switch panel makes a low-frequency hum. It was noticeable, even though it wasn't loud enough to keep me awake. It could use a better fix. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my stay.

Everything about my stay was excellent, and the birthday surprise made it especially memorable. They brought me sparkling wine, a cake and a handwritten card. Such a thoughtful gesture. The team made me feel welcome and well looked after. I'll definitely return and happily recommend the hotel.
