Inn Seventies

We liked how central it was, with everything easy to reach, and the rooftop was a lovely spot. Breakfast was served up there, then in the evening it became a sky bar for relaxed cocktails. The host was warm and made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and clean, with a big comfortable bed, a sofa bed, sink, and small fridge freezer. The bathroom was roomy and the shower had good pressure. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, but enough to get the day going; eggs made to order were the only hot option.

The studio was clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. You can check in early if you ask nicely. It’s right in central Lagos, with a 10 minute walk to the beach. There’s a rooftop bar above the building, which is mentioned on the website, so some noise comes with that. You get what you pay for, so read the details before booking.

CAREFUL! After we cancelled our reservation, they cloned our Visa card and a few days later tried to use electronic equipment to make online purchases. We filed a complaint with Polícia Judiciária. If you decide to stay here, be very careful with these people. Avoid it as much as you can!

It’s been two weeks since I cancelled this hotel through Expedia and I still haven’t been refunded. Expedia contacted them and told me the refund would come soon, but that was a week ago. I’m still chasing it and now have to call them myself. Expedia listed it as lagos central studio, not Inn seventies. I only found the Inn seventies name by checking my Visa statement. This is starting to feel like a scam. Very bad.
