Lagos Atlantic Hotel

The hotel was beautifully decorated and very quiet, with a spacious dining area, an outdoor pool and a great ocean view from our room. The fixtures felt high-end and the sofa was lovely. Service was warm and professional. Breakfast had lots of options and tasted great, and the dinner bar served tasty meals at reasonable prices. We stayed four nights and would absolutely recommend it.

We loved the two-story double room, which worked well for two adults and two kids. The property is beautiful and the service was really friendly. You can walk to the beach, and being above downtown means lovely views and sunsets. Breakfast was included and excellent, and we got free welcome drinks too. We’d happily come back.

The pool is lovely for relaxing, and you can order tapas there. Breakfast was wonderful too: although it was described as continental, it was a full buffet with fruit, pastries, meats, cheeses and eggs made to order. We loved staying here and would choose it again on our next visit to the Algarve. Great location and rooms, with thoughtful extras for our honeymoon.

We’ve just checked out, and the Atlantic hotel was even better than we expected from its already great reviews. It’s hard to find anything to fault. Staff were friendly, accommodating and always around when we needed something. Our room was beautifully finished, with a very comfortable bed, luxurious-feeling bedding and a superb shower. There was a fridge, despite what some reviews say, and the TV had all the modern apps. The pool was lovely, there were always loungers free, and both the food by the pool and the drinks were great. Breakfast had an outstanding range of choices. Highly, highly recommend.
