Shahid and his team are lovely, top-notch people, and the place felt so homely. It's smaller than other hostels around here, which I think is part of its charm. The rooftop is beautiful, with couches and sunset views. The dorm bunks are separated, giving a better sense of privacy while still making it easy to meet people.

The rooftop was a lovely spot, and the location worked well for me. I stayed in a female two-bedroom room. I shared it with someone the first night, then had it to myself the next. Everything was clean and well kept, and I really enjoyed my stay.

The kitchen had basic food ingredients on hand, which I don't usually see in hostels and made it feel like they really cared about guests. Staff were friendly and easygoing, and the rooms were clean. The place is central but tucked into a quiet corner.

The mattress showed clear signs of bed bugs when I checked after seeing how gross the beds looked. The owner's answer was to move me to the bed right above it and say the sheets had been cleaned. They wouldn't refund me, so I went to sleep at another hostel instead.

We were there for seven days, and the staff who looked after the place were really kind and friendly. Our room was clean, with its own bathroom and a balcony. The old town was conveniently close, and my friends and I had a really good stay at Central Hostel Lagos. I'd definitely recommend it.
