The best part of the stay was breakfast, easily. It was a real bright spot and a great start to the day. Getting comfortable in the room was hard. The humidity needed better control, the walls were thin enough for noise to carry, the bathroom was cold, and the bedroom too warm. Wet clothes had no practical way to dry except with a hairdryer. Staff could have been better trained to make things smoother, and the owner was extremely unfriendly and monitored guests too much. It felt like they relied on the lack of local competition, which may leave little reason to improve the guest experience. The hotel photos were nice and added something to the atmosphere, but they didn’t make up for the issues.

The friendliest staff are the real highlight, especially Conceição and her team, who are a true gem. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is yummy, and the terrace spaces have amazing views of both the sea and mountain. It feels like a home away from home in Pico. I’ll be back soon!

We’d already checked out early and skipped breakfast because we planned to catch a ferry. It was cancelled, leaving us hungry, so we called to ask if breakfast was still possible. The incredibly kind staff opened the restaurant just for us. We were very happy with the service and highly recommend it, 10/10.

Right in the heart of Lajes Du Pico, this is a very pretty hotel with clean rooms and a lovely ocean view. Breakfast was generous, with local products. We were really happy with the staff, who helped us sort out a couple of problems. I’d definitely come back.

The location couldn’t be better, and I’ve never had a view this amazing. I think I was lucky to get the “First-row-sea-view.” The rooms were large and clean, and the lovely decorations and details made the place feel special. Great breakfast too. Amazing.
