Sado Blue - City & River Flats by Be@home

The location is perfect, right in the town center and within walking distance of the market, ferry, restaurants, and cafes. The apartment is spacious and laid out efficiently, with comfortable beds, though the pillows are small and stiff. It’s on the third floor, up two sets of narrow stairs, so think about your luggage. I can’t imagine hauling a big suitcase up and down unless you’re young and strong. The area itself isn’t noisy, but loud people can be heard in the early morning, maybe because the narrow streets amplify the sound. We loved this place when we first visited a few years ago. It was new and super clean, and the property manager welcomed us with local cookies. She was a little late but responsive to what we needed. So we booked again, but this time it felt a bit tired. The door and windows needed repairs. There was no vegetable peeler, ice tray, or cleaning supplies, not even a proper broom. Since cleaning is no longer included, I’d expect some supplies for guests to clean up. Replies to requests were slow, and sometimes there was no reply at all. The saddest thing was getting neither a thank-you for staying nor a safe-travels wish. Not even goodbye. Hope this helps.
