The apartment was spacious, really clean, nicely decorated, and in an excellent spot right in the heart of the city. Communication was prompt, friendly, and easy. The shower is big, and it has a dishwasher and good room heaters. A couple of drawbacks: the Wi-Fi was slow, and the bathroom sink can’t be plugged. The 100L hot water tank is small and runs out quickly. They clearly told us about that in advance, though I hadn’t realized just how little 100L would be.

The heating could have been better when I visited in cold weather, but I’d stay here again. It’s a lovely, clean place in central Lamego, a short walk from the bus station and not far from the cathedral. The building was an old school and has been tastefully turned into short-stay apartments. Mine was exceptionally well equipped, with a dishwasher and proper kettle. It also had a proper fire alarm, emergency lighting, a fire extinguisher and blanket, and self-illuminated signs.

The room was new, nice, and spacious, and we had a very nice stay. It’s close to the center.

The building’s old history has been preserved through a recent refurbishment. Amazing place, strongly recommend.
