The Vintage Lisboa

Fantastic food, warm hospitality, and a great hotel. Every part of the team looked after us so well, from the room cleaners and receptionists to the breakfast staff and chefs. We loved our time here. A special mention to the front-of-house team, Jessica, Diogo, and Juan. They were all so helpful and lovely. I didn't catch everyone's name, but many thanks to them too. If we're back in Lisbon, hopefully soon, I know exactly where we'll stay.

We felt like treasured guests from the moment we arrived. The service and attention to detail were impeccable, whether it was my morning cappuccino or the hot chocolate bar in the lobby at night. Having our own spa time, nightly turndown, and sunsets on the rooftop made it feel like a luxurious home in the heart of the city. The street was quiet and felt safe, and plenty of city highlights were easy to reach on foot. Our room was spacious and full of thoughtful extras: gin and tonic kits, a diffuser attachment for the hair dryer, and a sumptuous bed with lots of pillows. Even though we were on the rooftop's floor, the room was quiet and easy to sleep in. The rooftop is beautiful, small, and private, with a little water view and lots of wine choices. For the price, this felt like an elite five-star stay in a great location.

The location worked really well, far enough from the action to be peaceful but close enough to walk or take the train or an Uber to popular areas. I didn't hear any noise from the people I think were in neighboring rooms, and I'll definitely stay here again. The staff were attentive and helpful from the start. I was able to check in very early and got an upgrade. My room was spacious and elegant. The bed was a little firm for me, though I slept well every night, maybe those hills wore me out. Breakfast had a good spread of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, juices, and more, plus dishes you could order. The restaurant and breakfast staff were attentive too.

What stood out most was the service. Everyone was consistently friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English while still cheerfully helping us with our very basic Portuguese. It was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Europe. It's a small, beautiful, luxurious hotel in a convenient part of Lisbon, close to sights, shops, and restaurants. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious, and the rooftop bar was a delight. Highly recommended.
