The room was comfortable, the bed was good, breakfast was nice, and the staff were very helpful. The decor is quirky. There’s no proper wardrobe, just hangers, but that wasn’t much of an issue for a short stay. The toilet is extremely snug, tucked into the room behind a frosted sliding glass panel, which led to some interesting moments. The hotel is very handy for the bars on Pink Street, and the main centre is about a 10-minute walk away. There’s no lift, and the climb gets steep on the upper floors, so consider that if you have mobility issues.

Boho style and quirky, with a great breakfast and free Batista coffee at reception each day. The Wi-Fi was great and there’s air conditioning. Just be aware there are stairs only, five floors in all, so it won’t suit anyone with impaired mobility. Good value for money.

The cleaning staff yap outside your room from 8 in the morning, and it goes on through the day. They’ll even knock around 8 to ask about room service when you’ve put the “I am sleeping, do NOT disturb” card on the door. If you like sleeping in, good luck. This has driven me absolutely insane.

If you’re in your twenties and want nightlife and atmosphere, this could absolutely be the place. I’m not, and I want a proper night’s sleep. This hotel never seems to sleep, so I won’t be back. If partying hard is your thing, fill your boots 😘

The staff were friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was immaculate. The location worked well for me, with restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby, and the busy shopping district just a short walk away. Since it’s right on Pink Street with all the bars, light sleepers may struggle. You could ask for a room on a higher floor, but that means climbing lots of stairs. I was very happy with my stay 😄😄😄
