6 Clouds

We first heard from one of the owners or workers that the Airbnb room we had booked was no longer available, though they said we could reserve a different one. Later the owner contacted us to say there were no rooms at all and tried to get me to cancel, so she could be paid for doing nothing while I received only a partial refund. She knew Airbnb's policy and seemed to be trying to take advantage of it. I'm sorry, but that felt scammy to me.

The owner was a bit bonkers, but we ended up staying longer than a short-term visit because of COVID. There was a problem with the accommodation, though we managed to sort it out, so things were fine in the end. It's a good place.

They say the apartment we booked for Christmas isn't available anymore, yet it has appeared again on the rental platform at a much higher price. It looks like this company may start with low rates, then increase them when demand rises, leaving customers stuck. All they tell us is that nothing can be done. Beware, this feels like a scam.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We booked through Airbnb, and the host was kind and quick to respond.
