7 Seas 3 Hostel

There were bed bugs, dirty rooms, just one toilet for the whole floor, and no blanket for me. A roommate was making noise at 3 a.m. If you can afford another place, stay somewhere else. A year later, though, I can laugh about the whole thing. It was quite an experience.

Coming back each day was the worst part. I could barely find the place: there were no signs, and the Google Maps address didn't line up. It almost seemed not to exist. Someone at another hostel on the street helped me figure out it was a few floors up in the same building. The photos didn't reflect the room I got. It was a windowless box with a hard bed, and they couldn't move me elsewhere. They also didn't offer towels; you have to ask and pay for them. For what I paid, it wasn't worth even half. I won't stay there again.

I booked a bed in a women's dorm but was assigned to a mixed one, which I wasn't comfortable with, so I left without staying. Getting my money back was difficult because the receptionist didn't speak English. I eventually managed it using Google Translate.

The front desk guy didn't speak English, but he did what he could to help. The room was just so-so, and another guest was drunk and yelling. I got a refund and slept at the airport before my morning flight.
