We booked accommodation in Beja through Booking.com with AKICITY, and arrived to find there was no connection to the gas network. I had no idea it was legal to rent a place without hot water, but apparently AKICITY thinks it is. I tried several ways to reach them. The general number went unanswered. The number for Check-IN and Check-OUT worked, but they said other departments weren't their responsibility. PT KEYS GUEST Support, listed for maintenance, apologized for the lack of communication and said they were waiting on the supplier, who had confirmed everything was in order and the gas service was active. I sent a photo showing there was no connection, and heard nothing more. Booking.com sent a message saying they were sorry for the delay, were waiting for more information from the person in charge, and would get back to us once they heard anything. The email reply said the same thing. I don't understand how AKICITY, based in Hong Kong, can say they aren't responsible for this situation.
