The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the stay was comfortable. The unit has the utilities you need whether you’re there for a short visit or a longer one. Castelo S Jorge is just a minute away, and there’s a tourism office downstairs where you can get tickets for things like the tram, train, and fado show. Great location, would highly recommend.

The apartments themselves were cozy and well located, but dealing with the company was a mess. My mother booked the stay and isn’t very comfortable with technology. Her flight was delayed by a day, so she emailed the only contact they provide, the services email, to ask about check-in and possibly extending the stay. She wasn’t asking for a discount. After three emails, she received one generic message with check-in instructions that didn’t answer her questions. When she arrived, the lobby’s automated system wouldn’t let her in because the reservation was overdue after the flight delay. She waited an hour and a half before getting into the apartment, with help from people who happened to be there. Since nobody replied about extending the stay, she had to book another nearby hotel for the extra night. We followed up by email several more times and got no response. I wouldn’t put my mom through that again. If you’re willing to deal with this for a possible discount, that’s up to you, but I’d spend an extra $20 on a legitimate hotel nearby.

We especially appreciated the communication from Luis and Paula. They responded quickly, made it clear who to contact for each thing, and helped us whenever we needed it, from booking right through checkout. The instructions were clear, and check-in was easy: we let Paul know and collected the keys from the box. Even when our plane was delayed, there was no issue. The apartment was spacious, clean, and furnished in a practical, tasteful way. It was quiet at night, with a pleasant breeze in the day and shade that kept it cool at midday. Fans helped too. The views of the castle or the Tagus and central Lisbon were wonderful, and we don’t think you’ll get better photos even from the city center. It had enough clean, useful facilities for three people, possibly more, and came stocked with wine, coffee capsules, and tea. The location is excellent, next to the entrance to Castelo de Sao Jorge and close to most major sights. Pingo Doce is five minutes away, Rossio metro is a 20-minute walk, and Baixa station is 25 minutes away. We’d warmly recommend it as a top Lisbon stay for 3-6 people.

The apartments were spacious and clean, and Luiz was an even better host. He was so helpful throughout our stay and went well beyond what was expected to make sure we were looked after in Lisbon. We’ll definitely return and would recommend the place to everyone.
