Areeiro Elegant Modern by Homing

On my second stay here, it delivered again just as it had the first time. The rooms are big and well designed, and the staff are great and professional. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel is easy to reach and reasonably situated, and the rooms have adequate equipment, though they lack basics like an iron and ironing board. The air conditioning is there, but in winter only the heating works. The room was set to 21.5 degrees Celsius, too warm for my comfort even with the windows open. The staff weren't attentive. I was stuck in the elevator for approximately 30 minutes before a technician arrived, which made me miss dinner reservations. Staff didn't know what had happened, weren't apologetic, and even chuckled when I mentioned it. There are better options in the area, and I won't be returning.

The top-floor room with a terrace had one of the best city views. I found the hotel very clean, and the reception staff were all welcoming and very kind. The cleaning ladies did a very good job to a high standard. Having my own kitchen was a bonus for a quick meal, and the shower gel and shampoo were good quality. The location worked well for the airport, the city, and travel to royal Pena Castle. Roma-Areeiro station was just a few minutes away, with a direct train. I'd definitely stay again. I might change the breakfast a little, since for €15 I had higher expectations.

The staff were really nice, and the room was clean and good. There was a beeping sound in the hallway all night, though. For a one-night stay near the airport, it was still a good stay.
