The flat was really clean and the owner was helpful and dependable. The bathroom had loads of room and a bathtub, and the metro and local market were close by. Just be aware that getting up to the fourth floor without an elevator can be a challenge.

There was plenty of space in the apartment, and it was clean.

The broken shower curtain bracket was a nuisance: I kept stepping on the curtain, and it didn’t close properly, so water got onto the toilet. There’s also a four-flight climb and nowhere to heat food or wash dishes except the bathroom. The listing mentions a table, but it’s a garden or balcony table that isn’t comfortable, and the balcony is barely more than a Juliet balcony. It’s described as luxurious and suitable for three people, which didn’t match what I found. This was my first Airbnb stay, and it was terrible. My humble opinion: DO NOT go.

We had a very good stay. Afonso welcomed us warmly, and we found everything clean and organized, including fresh bed linen. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine. We really liked the location. The apartment is on the fourth floor, but being at the top also meant it was very quiet. I’m grateful for the stay!
