Be Lisbon Hostel Estefânia

The hostel was super clean, from the bedrooms to the kitchen, showers, and toilets, and housekeeping did a great job. I loved the curtains that give each bed some privacy, and the laid-back, welcoming feel. People hung out playing video games or watching Netflix together, and lots of guests cooked their own food. Breakfast was just toast and cereal, nothing special, but for the price I can't complain. It's close to a supermarket and coffee shops, too. I usually travel for work and fun but stay in hotels or with friends. I wanted to try hostel life, and after reading good reviews and comparing the cost, I booked a deal through Norwegian. I'd highly recommend the place.

We stayed for a week, and I'm so grateful to the staff for looking after us. Andrea, Thiago, Duarte, Ruben, Erica and the others were wonderful. Our corner room had a balcony, and it was cleaned every day. The hostel was within walking distance of the metro and other places near the city center. We'd definitely come back when we're in Lisbon. We loved our stay at Be Lisbon and would love to visit again someday. Lisboa charmed us with its people, culture, and atmosphere. The staff and ambience at the hostel were great, and it felt like home rather than a hostel. Our spacious family room had a balcony, though we were surprised it had a shared bathroom instead of an attached one. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean. There were three extra showers and three toilets for women, with separate facilities for men. The bus stop was just 100-150m away, and the nearest metro, Anjos, was a 7-8 minute walk. We checked in late on a Sunday night.

I stayed seven nights and booked through booking. Com for around €170 with breakfast included. The breakfast had jambon, cheese, butter, tea, coffee, musli, oats, jam, and a couple of other options. The room and showers were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The locked storage under the bed was a thoughtful touch. It's a good location, six minutes on foot from the nearest metro station, with bus stops nearby. I liked it and would definitely recommend it.
