Be Poet Baixa Hotel

The location made it easy to reach the main sights and transport, with major tourist attractions within walking distance. Though the hotel is beside a busy street, our room was quiet and relaxing, with no outside noise. It was clean and cozy, and breakfast was tasty and filling, a great start to the day. On arrival they served us a glass of lovely wine and a delicious pastel de nata. The reception staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful, and showed us where to go for the hop on and hop off bus. We had a pleasant stay and highly recommend it. Thank you for having us, and I hope we can come back.

Rua Augusta is a great base, with so much within walking distance, and the price was very affordable. I liked hearing the bustle outside while I was in my room. The rooms were modern and clean, and the staff made me feel welcome. They spoke Portuguese with me because I asked them to help me practice. I loved staying here and will come back to Lisbon.

My room had a tiny balcony over a lively street, which I really liked. The staff were generally very friendly and even tried speaking my language, though I kept using English. The old town location couldn't be better, but everything inside felt cramped, from the hallways to the breakfast room. My only small complaint was the bathroom ventilation. It carried conversations from neighboring rooms so clearly, it felt like people were right beside me.

The staff were five star throughout our stay, pleasant, helpful, polite, and able to speak English. Eaves was amazing. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was very good, and we ate dinner at the restaurant several times without being disappointed. The hotel is right in the heart of Lisboa, so getting around on foot was easy. My wife and I stayed from 8/27/25-9/10/25 in a room at the back. It was quiet, nice, and clean, though a little small. We had a fantastic trip.
