Beautiful Apartment close to Praça do Comércio by LovelyStay

The television never worked, even though we booked this place partly so we could watch the New Year's Eve countdown, and the host kept promising to fix it without ever doing so. Worse, someone went into the apartment while we were out, despite us clearly saying we hadn't authorized entry, and left the door open. When we complained, they said they'd supposedly come to check the TV, which still didn't work. We felt our privacy had been completely disregarded. Getting inside was a problem from the start of our December 30 to January 1 Lisbon stay, booked through Booking.com. The entry code didn't work. After many attempts and an hour spent trying to reach the host, we were told there were emergency keys in a box by the plumbing panel. The box was open, so anyone could have accessed the apartment, even while we were inside. It felt completely unsafe. The whole experience was a disaster and left us frustrated and deeply uneasy, as well as ruining our New Year's Eve. If peace of mind, safety, and basic service matter to you, don't book this place.

Having laundry available was a huge help on our trip. We started our three-week journey in a really spacious room, with a big bed and a living room where we could relax. I don't think I'll find somewhere this nice again.

We had a clean, well-equipped place with plenty of room, including two toilets for our triple room. It's in a very central area, with some really good taverns and mini markets nearby.
