BeGuest Lisbon Premium Suites

Be very careful. This was the worst behavior I've had from a host team during or after a trip. They sent us the wrong key locker code, then didn't answer when we asked for help. The correct code came the next day, as if nothing had happened. We had to pay for somewhere to stay so we wouldn't be left on the street, and they wouldn't cover that cost. They also avoided discussing a refund for the night we lost and never paid it back. There was only one key for our group of 12. When a friend accidentally lost it, they said there was no spare, even though the checkout instructions told us to leave the key on the dining table, which suggests they could enter with another key. They said they needed a locksmith and that we'd have to pay, so they held onto our €400 security deposit. Booking.com eventually paid it back to me, not the hosts. When I raised the complaints and refunds by chat, they stopped replying. I sent Booking.com photos and the full chat log, and they said the hosts had stopped answering them too. Booking.com couldn't do anything else, so we accepted that we had lost the money for one night and had been misled about the locksmith. I never received a receipt when I asked for proof. There were other problems as well: the window shades didn't block the streetlights, the showers were clogged, the microwave was dead, and the window doors were stuck.
