Casa Das Janelas Com Vista

The shared spaces had a lovely feel and were clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent, and there was coffee, tea, fruit, and sweets available through the day. Since our baby was starting solids, we asked to use the kitchen, which came in handy for other things too. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. This was one of our best stays, and we appreciated the attentive service. The location is my favorite in Lisbon: quieter and safer, brighter, and close to everything. The staff were precise, attentive, and friendly. They gave us privacy in the common areas while being incredibly kind and helpful with our little one.

The staff were kind, helpful, and accommodating, and the hotel is centrally placed near plenty of destinations, restaurants, and cultural spots. It's on top of a hill, so hauling bags isn't easy. I'd recommend arranging a car to and from the airport for a smoother arrival and departure.

It's easy to get to restaurants, the metro, and sightseeing from here, and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. Just be ready for stairs and steep streets. Bairro Alto is built into a hillside, and you notice the elevation pretty quickly. The Casa and the area aren't wheelchair accessible.

We spent five nights at Casa das Janelas and really liked the quiet room on the third floor. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. There's no elevator, but that was fine for us. After busy days exploring Lisbon, we enjoyed relaxing in the nicely furnished lounge and reception area. Breakfast was lovely, and we appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, water, and snacks, along with the wines and port available at the honesty bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and could be found in the lounge until late. Casa das Janelas is on a quiet street in the Barrio Alto, about a 10-15 minute walk from Baixa-Chiado metro station. It was nice being away from the busier parts of town while still close enough to walk to shops and restaurants.
