The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood, and breakfast was okay. The pastries were delicious and the fruit salad was fresh, though the rest was pretty bland. I also saw that some rooms look great, and the decor throughout the hotel is really nice. Maybe I was unlucky and got their worst room. I spent 3 nights in one with a tiny window facing a wall just 15 cm away, so there was no daylight at all. Even in the middle of the day, the room needed the light on. The bathroom was minuscule, with one of those little sinks meant for toilets, and water was seeping into the wall by the window. There wasn’t an iron either, which was inconvenient on a work trip.

Fair warning, I’ll want to come back 💫 I had an amazing 4 day stay. It was clean, quiet, and cozy, and the location felt safe and was easy to get around on foot. It’s away from the chaos in the centre.

We found the rooms spacious, well looked after, and surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax. The hotel has a charming, classy feel that’s a bit different. Breakfast was delicious, and the location is hard to beat, just steps from the metro and near a supermarket. Highly recommend!

The hotel’s in a prime spot, and the staff were wonderful and helpful. Tomaś especially made our stay feel special, with his friendliness, city knowledge, and hospitality. The rooms and interiors are beautiful and kept up every day. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of healthy choices. Honestly, we’d recommend this lovely hotel to anyone, said two tanned Aussie girls.

Casa de Sao Mamede was a wonderful place to stay. The building and rooms were spotless and full of charm, and breakfast was perfect with lots to choose from. The staff were amazing, helpful, and accommodating. For us, a couple in our 30s, the location was ideal, with nice wine bars, restaurants, and cafes just 5 mins away on foot. It’s my fourth time in Lisbon, and we’ll stay here again. Thanks!
