Casa do Bairro Boutique Guesthouse

We slept wonderfully in the cozy room at Casa do Bairro, thanks to the very comfortable bed. The staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and the tasty breakfast set us up nicely for exploring Lisbon. The entrance is on a little street, with lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. It’s so well located. The attached photo shows the front of Casa do Bairro, the entrance street, and the surrounding area. Such a warm, welcoming place. Choosing it was the best decision we could have made!

The pumpkin jam was so good that I brought a jar home to hold onto the memories. The coffee was excellent too, and breakfast was fresh, delicious, and served with a beautiful view that made the mornings feel special. From the moment I arrived at Casa do Bairro by Shiadu, the welcome and care felt sincere. The service was friendly and attentive, and the thoughtful hospitality made my visit unforgettable. I can’t wait to return to Lisbon, and I’ll absolutely stay here again. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Priscila even helped me arrange my bus to Spain and made sure I understood all the details before leaving. That kind of care is rare, and the service across the Shiadu properties clearly comes from a real commitment to looking after guests. I also stayed at their other property up the hill, where the experience was just as exceptional. Saying goodbye to Priscila felt more like leaving someone who’d hosted me than checking out. We even hugged. She was warm, attentive, and easy to talk to from the start. The hotel has plenty of character, from its cozy layout and stairs to the thoughtful setup of my clean, comfortable room. It had everything I needed, including a bidet. Breakfast was included, delicious, and felt carefully prepared rather than just put out. The price was extremely affordable. Right in the heart of town, it was convenient while still tucked away enough to relax. I felt like a guest in someone’s home, not a transaction. This place stays with you, and I’d absolutely return.

We’d happily come back to Casa do Bairro on another Lisbon trip. The location is vibrant, with lovely little cafés and restaurants and fun side streets to explore. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast had plenty of healthy, delicious choices, and the staff were friendly and knew the area well. They pointed us toward the must-see Museu da Marioneta, a puppet museum with a fabulous collection, just a ten-minute walk from the guest house. Highly recommend!
