Casa Ginja - Castelo Apartment

The reviews don’t match our experience. The apartment didn’t feel nice, clean, or secure, and the restaurants weren’t friendly either. Getting there was impractical: first up a slope, then up steep stairs with suitcases in the rain, followed by a small entrance right in front of the stairs and another steep wooden staircase all the way to the second floor. The apartment itself is very small and not practical. I have leg problems and couldn’t get up there. My husband looked, but it wasn’t possible for me to access it. We were charged for both nights even though we couldn’t stay. The gentleman who received us said we could cancel if we didn’t stay. I showed him my disabled card, but I haven’t heard from them since. They haven’t responded to us or Booking.com about the cancellation. That’s not right, and the listing was misleading. I’d like a refund for the two nights.
