Key code doors made getting in hassle-free, with no keys to pick up. It’s a great apartment and a handy base for exploring Alfama and Lisboa. There was a bit of a loo smell when I first walked in, but I soon forgot about it, and it wouldn’t stop me renting the place again.

The apartment was okay, though it looked bigger and better in the photos. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired, especially in the bathroom. There was a chemical toilet under the window, and it smelled.

I felt at home in this gorgeous, clean apartment, and its central location made it even better. The welcome was less friendly than I’d hoped, though, and we had to wait before getting the keys. Still, I left my heart there.

The apartment itself is beautiful, modern, and really well kept. It’s in Alfama, our favorite part of Lisbon, and makes it easy to get around on foot: Baixa, Bairro Alto, and even LX Factory if you’re feeling motivated 😉.

These are charming, pleasant apartments typical of Lisbon's bohemian neighborhood. Just go for a lower floor if you can, since there’s no elevator... :-)
