Chiado 44

We’re still here and I wanted to share this before checking out. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and it had everything we needed. The hotel is in a great spot for walking to museums, markets, restaurants, and shops. There’s no elevator, but it’s only a couple of flights, which felt like nothing after touring Lisbon. The team arranged and provided all sorts of help, from rides and amenities to laundry pickup and luggage handling. We’ve had service as good as this elsewhere, but never better. I can’t think of a better all around place to stay in Lisbon.

Really friendly staff and a great breakfast service. The lobby was lovely, and the hotel itself was super clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Monica and all the front desk staff were so kind and friendly. They also went out of their way to carry our bags upstairs, which made a real difference since there’s no elevator. The building is right in the heart of Lisbon, close to attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable, a nice place to unwind after exploring the city. The stairs could be a challenge with heavy luggage or mobility concerns, but the staff were very helpful. A comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The old town location is good, and the building has a boutique feel, but it has no elevator. We were given a room on the fifth floor, and even with the nice, courteous staff helping with our bags, staying there was difficult for us. We changed hotels, and they kindly offered us a refund.
