The room was spotless, a good size, and thoughtfully designed. Staff were warm and helpful, with great recommendations. The location made it easy to walk around, and the nearby streets were flat, so we didn't have to haul luggage up Lisbon's famous hills. Despite being in a lively area, it stayed wonderfully quiet, even over New Year's. We'd definitely stay again.

We'll stay here again. The rooms are clean and modern, breakfast is nice each morning, and coffee and tea are available in the lobby all day. It's a great location near a transport hub and lots of good restaurants. We'd stayed in Lisbon's hilly part before and enjoy walking around, but prefer being by the river. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to George, who had loads of ideas and advice on what to do, where to go, and how to get there.

I've visited beautiful Lisbon three times now, and Dare Lisbon River is easily my favorite hotel. The location is great, the room was comfortable and very clean, and the friendly staff made me feel at home and welcome. Breakfast was great too.

The location was perfect for walking everywhere and popping back in during the day to reset. We loved the generous breakfast, and the room was spacious and private. Every staff member was so kind and helpful, always happy to see us and offering wine, food, or suggestions for what to visit. One night we returned late and they had a couple of pieces of cake delivered to our room. The room was incredibly comfortable and beautifully put together. It's our favorite hotel we've ever stayed in. Our only regret is not staying longer, and we can't wait to return.

The room was quiet and clean, with hot water and a comfortable bed, and the location was great. I also loved the espresso machine, which was free to use around the clock. It's an artsy, wonderful hotel, and staff were friendly, though the person serving breakfast wasn't welcoming and seemed not to like her job. They also give you a useful map of Lisbon when you arrive.
