Dom Pedro Lisboa Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals

Breakfast was amazing, and the service there and elsewhere was impeccable. The rooms were spacious, Wi-Fi was good, and there are nice restaurants and shops close by. The hotel is very central, too. I had no downsides during my stay at Dom Pedro, Lisbon on the night of May 15th, 2026, and strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon, Portugal.

We arrived at Dom Pedro Lisboa on the 22nd of December, and the staff made us feel at home throughout. On Christmas eve they sent wine and desert to our room. Then on my birthday, December 27th, they brought a bottle of Champagne, a small cake, chocolates, and a birthday card. The service was wonderful, with every detail taken care of. We’ll be back!

The room was outstanding, and the front desk and roomkeeping staff were excellent. But I was shocked to be charged €10 in room service just to borrow a spoon. If they were concerned I might not return it, they could have asked for a deposit. I ended up walking to Auchan to buy one, which was really disappointing. I’d give just one star, though that feels a little unfair.

I’m still waiting for a response after contacting the hotel directly. During my stay at Dom Pedro Lisboa, a €200 deposit was taken at check-in, then another €100 was automatically charged the next day without explanation. At checkout, I was told €32 would be deducted for tourist tax, leaving €268 to be returned, but I haven’t received a refund. Soon after leaving, I also noticed another hotel charge of around €32, with no explanation or invoice. I asked for an itemized breakdown, the final invoice, and confirmation of when the remaining amount would be refunded. I’m still waiting for clarification. Guests need clear information and documentation for every card charge. This lack of transparency is concerning, and for a hotel presenting itself as high-standard, the communication was far below what I expected. A stay that should have been pleasant became stressful and left me with a very negative impression.
