Breakfast was better than I expected, with enough choice to feel virtuous before giving in to pastries later. The lockers are another story: a large backpack, especially anything bigger than a standard carry-on, may not fit. They seem to have their own opinions. You’re right in the center, so most places are an easy walk and you can feel smug about skipping transport. The room is basic for the price: bed, four walls, no suggestion that luxury is included. There’s a mix of backpackers, digital nomads, early risers, and night owls. A fair, straightforward place to sleep between outings, with no big promises or romance, just Lisbon.

The team were so welcoming and helpful, and the shared areas were clean. Beds are roomy and comfortable, with curtains, and the kitchen has everything set up well. Breakfast was yummy too. I’d happily recommend it.

The facilities were pretty good apart from the heat in the rooms, the noise with the windows open, and lockers that barely hold anything. I stayed in room 6, the all-female room for eight, in bed 3. I found a bug casing but didn’t see any live bugs, though I ended up with about 20 bites that itch like crazy. If you stay, check the bed carefully first. The receptionist was very helpful and refunded me. They didn’t have another bed available, so I left and stayed elsewhere.

The staff made me feel at home with their warmth, and the place was comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was fantastic, and it was easy to meet people from different cultures in such a friendly atmosphere. Everyone was helpful.

The rooms are fairly spacious, and it’s handy that every person has a locker. The location is great, the staff friendly, and everything was clean. It did get hot, especially in the top bunk away from the windows, where the curtain left me with no fresh, cool air.
