I was lucky to arrive a few hours before check-in and find that my room was already ready. Checking in was easy, and the receptionist, who was there from 8am to 10pm, was friendly. It’s only a two-minute walk to the Metro, and I had a nice street view from the window. I stayed five nights, and the place was clean and quiet, just what I needed.
We picked this little hotel for one night before leaving Lisbon the next day. The location is great, and check-in and checkout were both easy. Our room was on a corner with views in two directions, plus the tiny balcony you often see around here. It was on the small side but adequate, with a comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. Recommended.
Getting around was easy, with the metro station just steps away, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They also store luggage after checkout. The bedding was comfortable, but there was barely room for bedside things, so my chargers had to go on the floor. The room is extremely compact, with no proper closet or storage. I ended up hanging clothes on the TV stand and door frame, and even put my carry-on out on the balcony. There’s no real seating area or desk, either. The bathroom is cramped, with the toilet and shower divided by frosted glass. It works, but it feels tight even for an average-sized adult. The hotel website photos show the best angles, so the actual space seemed smaller than I expected. It’s a functional little room for someone who doesn’t need much room and plans to spend most of the day exploring.
The staff were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, and the location is terrific. There’s an elevator if you’re on an upper floor or carrying luggage. The room is compact but works well, with a comfortable bed and a large shower despite the small bathroom.
There are restaurants, cafes, and bakeries just steps from the hotel, and many major sights are within walking distance in central Lisbon. The rooms are beautiful, with firm mattresses and comfy pillows. We liked opening the windows at night to hear the lively street performers nearby, though they kept us from sleeping each night. Closing the windows nearly blocked out the sound. At check-in, the staff welcomed us and carefully went over the amenities here and at their sister hotel, the Esqina Cosmopolitan Hotel.
