Gama House

Bright, cozy house in a great area, with free parking. The price is amazing for the quality, and it had everything I needed.

There was mold on the ceiling, broken furniture, trash bins all around the entrance, and the rooms were dirty. The outside furniture was smashed and the outdoor space was uninhabitable. The pool was cold and hadn't been cleaned. We were put in the wrong room, and it was dirty too. Its door was broken, the handle had come off, and it creaked, which wasn't considerate to the other Airbnb guests. The bed was too small for two, and there were no shutters or towels for hands or hair. Then she asked us for another €28 when we arrived. I don't understand why this place has more than one star.

If you're a student or backpacker, you might like the very cheap price. The room itself was acceptable, but there's a shared bathroom and no air conditioning in the room or anywhere else. It felt almost abandoned when we arrived, and at 6:30 pm it was 32°C. The pool was empty and disgusting, despite the listing, there is no seasonal pool. The bed was a small double, and since I was traveling with my son, separate beds would have been better. That's the norm in hotels.

The shared bathroom was filthy, apparently because there was no cleaning service, and you'd wake up in pain. The accommodation was neglected and dirty, and not even suitable for pets despite the charge. I'm disappointed in Booking.com for being unable to filter places and enforce minimum standards. It's appalling, and I hope nobody else goes through what we did. I'd give zero stars if that were an option.
