Garden Guest House

I should've checked the ratings before booking. My room was far from clean, with plenty of dust and hair on the floor. I asked the host for a vacuum, but they turned me down. There wasn't a towel either, so I had to buy one to clean myself.

The rooms didn't look like the photos, and the sheets and other items smelled bad. I also found most of the room wasn't ready. The guy called Yusuf spoke to us in a threatening way about what we could and couldn't do. We arrived late, and he said check-in was over and we should go find another hotel. Then he asked us for 15 Euro in cash for checking in late. He also wanted the city tax in cash, 8 Euro per night. Please stay away from this guest house. I regret not reading the reviews first. If you get a cheap deal, I'd still say don't book it. We shouldn't book their rooms and should make them face the consequences of their wrongdoings.

It's right by the metro, and the staff were good. The place was just about adequate, with what you need for a stay, and the price seemed reasonable, though I think it's worth a bit less. There was no paper in the kitchen, and the oven wasn't available. Our room had two beds, with a window facing the inside of the building. The air was bad when we opened it.

It's in a good location, but the stay had a lot of problems. I waited half an hour for the owners to arrive and open the door for check-in, and they also tried to charge me an extra 4 euros per night. The room was on the third floor, with no elevator. The bedroom had no mirror and no outlet for charging devices, not even under the bed. Although there's a kitchen, cooking isn't allowed. Guests can use the microwave to warm food, plus the toaster, fridge, and kettle. The bathroom and kitchen were very unclean. Under my bed I found a lot of dirt, a used paper cup, and an empty cigarette box. The owners, who live there too, made a lot of noise around 4 am.
