The standout was the decoration, which was exceptional. The rest of the wedding meal at Arribas by the Sea was disappointing. Yesterday’s menu listed passion fruit emulsion for dessert, followed by a buffet of sweets, fruit and cheeses, and then the wedding cake. I didn’t have the passion fruit emulsion. When several people went to the buffet, they stopped it from opening and said it would only be available after the cake. I just wanted a piece of fruit, but they refused, so my wife and I left at 23:10 without eating any. Service between the starters, main course, and dessert was very slow, and the room was so noisy we couldn’t hear the person in front of us. Changing the order like that will surely put people off the buffet.

Each room has its own bathroom and toilet, while the kitchen is shared. The guesthouse is well located, near the metro, shops, and other transport, with most attractions walkable. It’s a nice place. Just be aware that the fifth floor means a lot of stairs, and there’s no elevator, so it’s easier if you don’t have heavy bags.

Everything was beautiful and really cozy, and the cleaning was a full ten out of ten. The service was very good too. The only downside is that there’s no elevator, and the rooms are on the fifth floor.

We’ll definitely come back. The manager was lovely, and the place felt clean and welcoming. Great location, good value, and fantastic Wi-Fi.
