The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently close to Avenida da Liberdade. The room was clean and a decent size, though its style felt stuck in the 90s. Noise was a problem at night: we could hear voices and doors slamming through the weak sound insulation. The choice of view wasn’t great either, with either a very loud street or the back buildings and an air conditioner so noisy I first thought I was hearing planes. Breakfast was the biggest letdown for the price. The scrambled eggs seemed industrial, the sausage was processed instead of real bacon, and the bread, fruit, ham, and cheese were all basic or cheap. Yogurt came in plastic packaging, and the place setting was just a napkin, fork, and knife. The stay didn’t feel worth what we paid.

The pools were clean and well looked after, and the restaurant was huge, like it could seat 100 or more people. The location is excellent, close to the main pedestrian street and the park. The hallways and elevators could use some refreshing.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable with the usual amenities. It’s roughly a 30-35 minute walk to the central area, or around 16-18 minutes by car.

The hotel is well placed near a metro station, and the staff were very friendly. We had two double beds in a spacious room with all the amenities we needed, and breakfast had a good selection. The mattress was difficult to get comfortable on, and the bathtub could do with an anti-slip mat.
