There were bedbugs in our bed, and I ended up with 40 bites. That's the worst thing about this hostel, though we also noticed a likely water stain on the wall. Using the cooker costs 2 euros, and the owner said electricity is expensive in Portugal. This was the worst place I've ever slept, even worse than a tent in the middle of nowhere. If you're looking for a cheap stay in Lisbon, don't go here. Pay 10 euros more and get a clean bed.

The room was clean, but the bathroom and kitchen weren't. We also had to wait far too long to check in.

There were too many stairs, and the door wouldn't close properly. I paid for breakfast but never got it.

The price is the one good thing. There are no elevators, so getting your luggage up means climbing at least four flights of stairs. The kitchen is tiny, and with so few bathrooms, you usually end up waiting a long time for a shower.
