Hotel Açores Lisboa

Being right beside a Metro station made getting around Lisbon easy, and the ride cost €1.50. The rooms were nicely decorated, with much of the furniture looking new. We also found the hotel restaurant and lounge useful for breakfast and relaxing after a day out. There are places to eat nearby: north of the hotel, more cafés and lunch spots, while up the hill to the south are fancier restaurants in a newer neighborhood. It's in Lisbon's newer financial district.

We asked for a spoon and were told it was an exception for us. When we requested a kettle because we'd caught a cold and wanted tea, they said we could rent one for €5 a night. Really, in a four-star hotel? I didn't like the place overall, and it falls well short of four stars. If good service matters to you, I'd skip this hotel. It was disappointing.

The location is in a quiet area, with the metro nearby for getting to Lisbon's main sights, and I slept well there. My room at Hotel Açores Lisboa was spacious, modern, and well kept. Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, and the staff were attentive and ready to help. It felt like a comfortable, practical stay with warm service and good facilities. I'd gladly return on my next trip.

We'd stay here again. The breakfast was great and included when we booked directly, though that seemed worth checking. Our room was clean and modern, and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. Sete Rio bus and train complex is about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel sits beneath a low flight path, but the rooms are well insulated against the sound. We were here for one night in September 2025 while travelling onward.
