We got there late and checked in around 11 pm. There was a strange smell when we first entered the room, but it became overwhelming once we went to bed. It smelled of laundry detergent or very strong fabric softener and fragrances. My partner and I both had severe irritation in our airways and noses, and breathing became difficult. We tried the air conditioning and then opened the window, but it faced a wall and barely let in any fresh air. Reception told us there were no other rooms, they couldn’t do anything, and we wouldn’t find another hotel at that hour. Within 30 minutes I booked somewhere else and we left, because staying until morning felt unsafe for our health. We’d paid in full for the room and breakfast. When we asked for a full or partial refund, they said we’d already used the room. They also brought up having wished me a happy birthday, as though that justified the situation. We didn’t get a single euro back, not even for the breakfast we never ate. The service was zero, and the hotel seemed indifferent to guests’ health and well-being. Afterward I checked the one-star Google reviews and saw that our experience wasn’t unique. If you care about your health, stay away.

The rooms were clean and modern, and cozy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s not right downtown, but being close to the metro meant we could get wherever we needed. I’d recommend staying here.

We stayed for four days in November, in a first-floor room, and had a really nice time. It was quiet at night, the beds were very comfortable, and the room was cleaned perfectly every day. I also really liked getting a free bottle of water in the room daily. The hotel is near a metro station, and breakfast had a nice variety. I’d recommend it.

This was a great find in Lisbon. It’s in a nice neighborhood, with shops and a supermarket close by, and the nearest metro station is a five-minute walk. From there you can get to the sights and the airport. The staff were informative and lovely, and the rooms were spotless, with daily cleaning if you wanted it. Free water, tea, and coffee were available and could be topped up whenever needed. We’ll definitely be back soon.

I’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely return. It’s a lovely little hotel near the metro, so it’s easy to get around Lisboa. The staff are kind and helpful, breakfast is simple but delicious, and the room is clean and cozy. Thank you.
