Internacional Design Hotel

We chose the Internacional Design Hotel for my son’s 21st birthday, and the stay went smoothly from beginning to end. Its central location made it easy to reach the city’s sights, shops, and transport, while the hotel itself felt stylish and comfortable. We also had a good meal at the hotel’s Bastardo Restaurant. The sushi and seafood were especially impressive and prepared to a high standard.

The staff were welcoming and always smiling, and the hotel has a modern interior with a different art theme on each floor. We had a gorgeous view from room 407, plus a balcony with chairs. The hotel is right in the center, with most sights walkable and metro, bus, and tram stops outside. Breakfast was the same each day, but there was a wide choice: bread, ham, cheese, eggs, beans, bacon, sausages, veggie salad, fresh fruit, pancakes, cakes, and more. The only real problem was the shower drain. It seemed clogged or faulty, and the bathroom flooded a little as soon as the shower started. Our room was cleaned once during our five-day stay. The cleaner came in the afternoon, when we were usually taking a break there before dinner, and we didn’t mind missing the service. We’ve just returned home and already miss the place. I’d happily stay at Internacional Design Hotel again. Thanks for making our Lisbon holiday special.

Pedro at the front desk made our days brighter whenever we saw him. He clearly enjoys his work, knows his customers well, and brings a great energy. The whole front desk team was friendly, helpful, and quick to answer our questions. Gabriela (?) served us at Bastardo and remembered our wine order from the previous evening. The restaurant was superb for sushi lovers. The hotel was clean, comfortable, good value, and in a great location. We’ve traveled all over Europe, and this may be our favorite place we’ve stayed. All in all, 11 out of 10. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely stay in the heart of Lisbon. Everything was within walking distance, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and ready to help, which made the trip even better. Highly recommend it.
