The rooms were spacious, quiet and very clean. Staff were polite and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. The croissants were especially tasty, as was the orange juice. I’d recommend it to my friends.

The outside looks modest, but inside the hotel is quite chic. It’s in a quiet part of town, close to the waterfront and public transport. There’s also a large Lidl just a few minutes’ walk away if you want fresh snacks or drinks. Breakfast was the highlight for me, with plenty of good options. I could have as much smoked salmon as I wanted, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

At Jeronimos 8, the location was absolutely stunning and the service was great. The staff were very attentive, and breakfast had fresh bread, orange juice, local pasteis and smoked salmon. The water pressure was great too. I was more comfortable thanks to the bed’s pillows, which had different textures to choose from.

The staff were great, but the hotel needs a facelift. The carpet in my room was badly stained, the corners were all damaged, and there were chips all over the bathroom.
