Lisbon Check-In Guesthouse

Once you've walked around a bit, you'll find the location is good, and the host is nice. It's good value, with attractive rooms and plenty of light. The lift, stairwells and corridors could use better lighting and work better. Be sure to get clear instructions for finding the building and getting inside.

Our room at the front of the building was huge. It got a little noisy at night until 2AM, but it's a perfect place to stay!

The rooms are really nice, and check-in was great. It's a bit farther from central Lisbon, though still close enough to walk. Definitely recommend!

I liked the guesthouse feel, with a private room and shared kitchen and living room. The common spaces were lovely, clean and roomy. My room had good climate control, blackout blinds, a clean shower with lots of hot water, plenty of closet space and a Nespresso machine. The TV was a bit small, but that was fine. The bed felt like foam blocks pushed together, so it wasn't very comfortable. Still, I got settled in and my back wasn't sore the next day. At home, my bed feels comfortable but I wake up stiff and sore. Can anyone explain that? lol. The price was very reasonable for this kind of hotel, and the entry instructions by email were clear. Joao at reception was super nice and friendly. Two places to eat are right outside the main entrance on the street below, though they're closed on Sunday. There's a McDonald's around the corner, a few other eateries nearby, and a nice little park down the street. The building entrance and stairwells felt a little spooky because they were dark, and the elevator was small. Once you reach the guesthouse, though, it's bright and cheerful. My rating is compared with similar hotels, not luxury places. If you're on a budget and want somewhere decent to stay, this is a great option.
