Lisbon Calling Rooms & Studio

We had a terrible stay at Lisbon calling rooms and studio. The service was unfriendly, the walls were very thin, and there was loud cleaning all day, every day. It wasn't worth the money at all. We told the owner about it and got ghosted. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The neighborhood was too noisy, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The place also didn't match the ad. Why keep a washing machine in the kitchen if it's always occupied? After a long trip, guests literally can't wash their socks and underwear.

The room itself was nice, with a modern, clean bathroom and a kitchen that was a big plus. Reception helped me pay ahead and arrange a late check-in, and the studio was as described. But the windows opening onto the roof had no locks, which felt like a huge safety concern. Someone in the building, or anyone climbing up a story, could have accessed my room. I also didn't feel comfortable walking alone in this neighborhood at night, and people were constantly yelling in the hallways. Be wary of safety when booking.

The common area was really nice, with a well-decorated open space, tables, and a kitchen. But we couldn't sleep properly because of the restaurant downstairs and the poorly insulated walls. It stayed loud until 12-1 AM. We'd told the booking agent we needed to check out early for our flight home, and they explained how to self-check out, but never mentioned the restaurant. Later, they even claimed they didn't know it was there, although online research says it's been there for almost a century. Lisbon should not allow rentals above a restaurant that's operating. We wish we'd known about the noise beforehand, because we wouldn't have stayed. It's a nice place if you don't mind the noise and can manage on little sleep. Book at your own risk.
