The place has charm and plenty of space, with lovely views from the windows, though it’s dimly lit. It’s right in the heart of Lisbon, and private parking is available at Emmel parking for €13.05 a day. There’s no working elevator, no in-person reception, and nobody around to answer questions. There’s no proper luggage storage, just a small-bag locker that takes card payment. Some of the light switches were faulty and unusable.

The furnished apartment was pretty quiet for us, though noise likely depends on the time and day since it’s right by a cable car stop. It’s a decent place to stay, but customer service is lacking. Check-in is entirely virtual, and it felt like a 50/50 chance it would work. Getting through the door was difficult, and we had to ask the cleaning staff and other guests to work out what was happening. The lift is still broken, too.

The terrace and apartment location deserve ten stars on their own. Everything was very clean, both bedrooms were nicely arranged, and there was a large living room with a dining area and a nice kitchen.

My room had an amazing view, and the apartment itself was really clean and tidy with plenty of facilities. Getting in felt safe and secure. I’d read about noise from neighbors and the street, and expected some since it’s close to nightlife, but I hardly heard any. I guess I was lucky. Definitely worth staying here!
