We got lots of useful suggestions for things to do nearby, which made exploring more enjoyable. Breakfast was another highlight, Rosita and Jujo prepared it with care, and it was beautifully arranged and delicious. Vare and Cevi at reception welcomed us warmly and went out of their way to make us feel at HOME. Everyone on the staff was amazing and helped make the stay unforgettable.

Mama’s family dinner was the highlight for me. I joined both evenings I was in Lisbon, and loved sitting around the table with people from all over, sharing stories and laughing. Mama is so warm and kind, and her cooking is amazing. Her mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of mashed potatoes! It was my first time in Lisbon and only my second solo trip, and Home hostel made the experience so good. The central location was perfect, everything was clean and comfortable, and the all-female room was in a separate area from the mixed rooms, which felt private. The walking tours with Paula and Wendel were funny and interesting, and a great way to meet people. Shoutout to Gui, Vane, Rosi, and the whole team. What an amazing place and city. Thank you, and see you again ❤️

The common areas were very clean, the hostel was cozy, and its location right in the centre of Lisbon was great. It’s the best hostel I’ve stayed in so far, and I highly recommend it. Breakfast was delicious and made with care for only 5 euros. Homelisbon Hostel really felt like home. Thank you to Rosalía and Vivien at reception for their kindness, helpfulness, and hospitality. Rosalia made breakfast feel special with her warmth, energy, and care. You can tell how much love she puts into the food and running the space. The food itself was delicious, and the hospitality was wonderful. This was my first morning here, and the breakfast was already the best I’ve had at a hostel, easily among the top 10 I’ve had anywhere. Thank you, Rosalia, for such a lovely start.
