The location was lovely, right by the metro, and I almost preferred Saldanha to central Lisbon. The hotel feels modern and open. Breakfast looks like a small buffet, but everything is made fresh to order. I especially liked the fresh orange juice, coffee prepared when requested, and the quality of the hot food. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the spa and sauna area was really nicely arranged. The lobby also has tea, coffee, fruit water, and sweets, which was welcome after a long day of walking. I loved the handy changing station tucked inside the bedside stand too. The rooms were very nice, though I’m not a fan of windows that don’t open. Apparently that’s how new hotels in Portugal are. I’d still recommend staying here. I would suggest paying closer attention to details like bathroom maintenance and cleaning. Water leaked in both of our rooms, and there was quite a lot of dust in a ventilation vent. We were moved to another room. Those issues were small for us, but they matter more when you can’t open a window.

The sauna, steam room, and relaxation room were fantastic, honestly among the best I’ve had at a hotel. They made waiting for our room feel restful instead of like wasted time. We arrived at 6:00 AM, much earlier than planned, and the staff welcomed us warmly and let us use the facilities straight away. Mateus at the door deserves a mention. He was genuinely friendly and helpful, and made a great first impression. The only “complaint,” if it counts, is that this was our first hotel in Portugal and set the bar far too high for every one after it. We had a great stay at Luster Hotel and would definitely come back.

Breakfast had a delicious range of food. I especially loved the croissant with Nutella and strawberries on top. The hotel is luxurious, with a spacious room, modern facilities, a comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. It’s in a great spot with good metro connections. There’s an indoor pool with a sauna and steam room, plus an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommended!

The spa was a lovely, cozy place to unwind, with a pool, sauna, and friendly, attentive staff. Special thanks to Ana for the massage. Her hands really work magic. With the soft, calming music in the background, we relaxed completely and had a wonderful time. We left feeling calm and refreshed, and keen to come back.

The pool and spa area were beautifully maintained, just right for relaxing after a day around the city. The staff were particularly friendly and attentive at breakfast, with warm, efficient service that felt focused on guests. Luster Hotel is centrally located and very comfortable. Its rooms are clean, modern, and well designed. A stylish, welcoming choice in the heart of Lisbon.
