Montecarmo 12 - Design Boutique Hotel

Margarida made us feel at home. She greeted us each day, made breakfast a delight, shared lots of tips, and suggested a nearby spot for Pasteis de Nata. On our last day, we had an early flight, and without us even asking, she offered to prepare a breakfast box for the trip to the airport. They also provided a Nespresso machine so we could have coffee in our room at 5 am. My partner and I loved chatting with her. The breakfast was a treat: we ordered the day before and they cooked it right in front of us. I'm picky about coffee and loved theirs. The hotel was very quiet, a great place to rest after exploring lisbon. Montecarmos 12 is minimalist with a lot of attention to detail. Our room was roomy, with three huge windows and a julliete balcony setup. It felt great to open the windows for some air, even with the intense rain during our stay. The aircon was amazing. They cleaned the room daily and left still and sparkling water each day. Bathroom products were good quality, with sustainable shampoo and conditioner bars, and we could ask for more. Check-in was smooth, and we could message staff via what's app. They promptly replied when we asked for extra towels and recommendations for francesinha. Our room was ready five hours before standard check-in. Margarida offered us great coffee while we waited, but there wasn't really any wait at all. We had landed super early at LIS and had only planned to drop our bags, so having the room ready was very convenient. If you pay attention to details, you'll love Montecarmos 12.
