The room was on the second floor, with no elevator or help carrying luggage upstairs, and the stay cost far more than the quality justified. There was a moldy smell mixed with sewer gas as soon as we entered. The building felt very old and a bit dirty, and the shower floor had mold. The photos make the place look better than it is, and the condition felt much more worn and gloomy. I don't understand the glowing reviews we relied on when choosing it. There were a lot of problems: the luggage room was open to anyone, with no check that someone might take your bags by mistake. The sofas were ripped, with stuffing coming out. The hair dryer's cord was so short you had to put your face right up to the mirror. Breakfast was poor: moldy bread, stale cereal, and a wait to cook your own eggs. Since we had to leave early, we were yelled at for starting breakfast 15 minutes ahead of time. This place doesn't deserve a 4.4 or 8.9 rating.
