Amazing hotel, lovely staff, great location, and such a cozy feel 🥰

The service made us feel looked after from the time we arrived until we left. The manager was excellent and made sure the stay met our expectations, and the staff gave us great help with restaurant suggestions, bookings, and directions. Butler service was part of that, too. Our room was beautifully maintained, including the impeccable evening turn-down. It was brand new and thoughtfully appointed, with every detail taken care of. This first-class hotel is right in downtown Lisbon, and we’d gladly recommend it to family and friends for its location, service, and quality. Jeff and Susan

Every part of this hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are beautiful and the service is amazing. We’d highly recommend it for any occasion.

I was having a coffee across the street on a sunny afternoon when two young women nearby were filming a time-lapse of passing cars for a school or university project. The hotel facade wasn’t in the video. The doorman came over and told them not to film the road, saying the place had recently had trouble with filming around a protest. They stopped. I asked why he’d approached them and intimidated them over their project. He said something like, “you do not speak Portuguese so you do not know what was said.” When I asked if he should apologize and avoid intimidating people, he said he already had, and repeated that I’d know if I understood Portuguese. I told him to go back to the hotel and leave them alone. The women told me he hadn’t apologized and that his behavior had made them feel intimidated. It was gross to see a grown man refuse to apologize, then lie about doing so. I wouldn’t stay here. Edit: Their response just confirms they care about their image. They offered me drinks to change the review. I’d even given the person a chance to admit he’d acted rashly toward the women, and I would have been happy to remove it, but he doubled down and was rude to me too. I wonder what they’ll leave out next.
